Thanks for visiting my site!
My name is Kei Lin (k-lynn, pleasure to virtually meet you as well) and I'm Southern California born-and-raised with a B.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of California, Irvine (#ZotZot). I earned my M.A. in Environmental Arts and Humanities at Oregon State University (#GoBeavs) and completed the Marine Resource Management Graduate Certificate in June 2017. Despite the occasional "What am I doing with my life" thoughts, it's been an incredible experience and I'm glad I took the opportunity to come out here. My main academic interest is using art as a method of science communication; I think my inner artist and scientific background make a pretty good combo that's suitable for something like that. Now is especially a crucial time to understand science, given the critical state of our planet. That aside, I enjoy photography, design, art, being outside, and trying new things.
I first made this blog as a way to improve my writing skills by talking about my artwork/photography or just daily musings. That was the same time I made a Flickr account (see the Gallery tab) to upload the numerous pictures I take. Now it's just a matter of sorting through my pictures to upload and remembering to post...
Enjoy!

Titled "Glacier Mountain Grandeur", this is one of my most prized pictures that I took while I was on a cruise with my family back in 2013. In a process I call L3 (I'll explain later), I'm working on compiling a portfolio of pictures like these titled "The Fourth Lens" (I'll also explain later).
